Resources about Gender

There are many organizations that have concerns about the current culture around gender identity and it’s impact on children’s wellbeing, parental rights, and/or women’s rights.  The following resources are all either bi-partisan, apolitical or liberal.

  • The Gender Toolkit:  An Urgent Conversation from file:///C:/Users/lisab/Downloads/gender%20toolkit%20cover%202.jpgRestore Childhood – An informational and advocacy toolkit for parents, students, mentors, teachers, and administrators who want to engage in mutually respectful discussions.  Seeks to  promote a safe learning environment for all children, respect gender nonconformity, and avoid conflict with parental rights.  The information in this toolkit is intended to rise above the culture war noise and give you the information to feel confident in making evidence-based decisions in parenting and public policy.

  • Gays Against Groomers – an organization of gays and others in the community who oppose the sexualization, indoctrination and medicalization of children under the guise of “LGBTQIA+”. The Colorado Chapter has been very instrumental in our efforts.
  • Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender – DIAG is an organization of lifelong democratic voters working to depoliticize and shed light on gender.
  • Colorado Parent Advocacy Network (CPAN)a collaborative statewide network committed to reestablishing a rigorous, non – political, safe & fulfilling educational experience for all students.
  • Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR)Promotes a common culture of fairness, understanding and humanity. “Diversity without division”.  Their webinar recordings are an excellent source of information.
  • LGBT Courage Coalition – an organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender adults who are concerned with the current state of gender medicine for children & adolescents in the United States and Canada.
  • “No Way Back: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care” video produced by liberal psychologists and pediatricians, also includes testimony from several detransitioners. Available on YouTube or nowaybackfilm.com
  • Genspect – a group run by two liberal leaning psychologists focused on addressing gender dysphoria in young people.  Their website has links to many resources, including their weekly podcast “Gender: A Wider Lens”.  They offer counseling and support groups to gender dysphoric youth and their  families.
  • ICONS – Independent Council on Women’s Sports – Elevating and empowering female athletes.  Protecting safety, fairness and opportunities for girls and women.

Colorado Transgender & Gender-expansive Youth Bill of Rights

Colorado has passed legislative bills that knowingly silence the voice of parents when it comes to protecting their kids and making it legal for children to make decisions without the consent or knowledge of their parents.

Here is an example of what the state of Colorado has published, which clearly shows that Colorado law and  the state’s practices now encourage and promote transgender ideology for minors.

Sex Education in Public Schools

  • Some public schools teach children they could be born in the wrong body.
  • Young teens are shown videos with techniques to pleasure their sex partners.
  • Students are told how to get secret abortions without telling their parents.
  • In many school systems, sex education has become a vehicle for an agenda-driven curriculum that sexualizes children.
  • Many school districts have chosen sides on LGTBQ issues and are using sex ed as the vehicle to enforce conformity with their views.
  • LGBTQ sexuality is presented as good, healthy, and equal in every way to heterosexuality.
  • “Sex assigned at birth” is the transgender activist language used to support the idea that a person’s sex can change.
  • Propaganda: Sex politics in the halls, in history class, on the calendar, in the library.
  • It is not an overstatement to say that the very future of our country depends on what’s happening at our local public schools.
